Horace and Yvonne Holmes have operated a full service studio in
historic downtown Macon, Georgia since 1982. They have conducted
programs throughout the United States and internationally in Nassau,
Bahamas. Their articles have been published in Professional
Photographers of America, Lens Magazine and the Georgia Professional
Photographers Association Publication.
They received their Photographic Craftsman's degree in 1993, making
them the first African-American couple to receive their degrees
simultaneously in the history of the Professional Photographers of
America. Horace is also PPA certified and have national award winning
portraits.
Horace and Yvonne have been honored by the Eastman Kodak Company for
their marketing skills of the "Portrait of Appreciation" through the
Promise of Excellence program. Horace and Yvonne were official portrait
photographers for Kodak during the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta,
Georgia.
